The main applications of langasite crystals now are SAW device BAW device and electro-optic Q-switch.
The surface acoustic device is prepared with piezoelectric crystal as the substrate is easy to realize the miniaturization of the device due to its excellent electrical properties, and is widely used in communications, radar, navigation, and so on.
